  • FAQ topic

The warning ‘no elements of the specified type is found’ is related to the created model in Revit and the type of elements you are trying to export to SCIA Engineer
For the elements to export, four options are found:

  • All analytical: All analytical components of the Revit model are exported to SCIA Engineer. This includes analytical nodes, panels, members ...
  • All structural: All structural components of the Revit model are exported to SCIA Engineer. This includes beams, columns, walls, floors ...
  • With both analytical and structural model: All elements which both have a structural component AND an analytical component are exported to SCIA Engineer. The geometry is defined based on the analytical panels and members.
  • All: All members are exported to SCIA Engineer.

You will find this warning whenever you have no elements available of the selected type. In that case, you can change the elements to export accordingly or edit the Revit model before making the export.
