Integration member integrates all internal forces from 2D as well as 1D members which are in the defined bounding box around the member. This results in internal forces of 1D element. Steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) is more and more used as construction material. Well-known are applications for industrial floors. Nevertheless, this material is also widely used in structural concrete elements where it is especially effective to cover crack widths in combination with standard conventional reinforcement.
In order to investigate the behaviour of SFRC slabs on piles, a campaign of tests has been conducted at the Tongji University of Shanghai, China. All the specimen are reinforced with the 5D 65/60BG high performance fibre from Bekaert, at dosages of 30 and 35 kg/m³. Tests were conducted on four plates of dimensions 4.3x4.3m, with a thickness of 18cm, loaded by one central point and supported on four 4 points.
